Courage: 1. The ability to do something that frightens one.

Bible Acts 14:22

Strengthening the souls of the disciples and encouraging them to continue in the faith. “ We must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of God, “ they said.

There will come a day when you are discouraged, worn, torn, and want to give up on life. For some people, They want to give up on life and die- Suicide. For others, You may want to give up on your faith, Your Christian Walk with God- Your Salvation. Then there are those who are close to surrendering their marriage, etc.

Sometimes, It is easier to give up and throw in the towel. But, We must make a strategic choice not to take the easy way out. You must decide in your heart to do the hard thing- and sometimes, that means to walk by faith and carry on in life in the midst of hard trials , and demonic situations. We must intentionally allow God to make us into what He want to make us into, which in many cases, that is the assignment of becoming a Warrior.

You must realize in the making of a Warrior , You are going to have to be able to take a hit, take a lick, and keep on ah ticking, and be able to obediently strike and attack Demons and their Cohorts when being told to do so by your Heavenly Father- The General of the Army.

You must remember you was built for this. Whatever Your this is, It did not catch God by surprise. Your Trial, problem, circumstance, situation is not a surprise to God. After all, God made you. You are an Heavenly Design. God built you to withstand whatever storm you are facing. I know you may be in the midst of an whirlwind. I know you may see a Catastrophic Hurricane of the highest level- ⅚ headed to your life, home or family. But, I encourage you to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Use the tools God gave you to withstand a storm.

Jeremiah 33:3

3.) Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Call Out to Your Heavenly Father. Seek God for guidance, clear directions, and strength to endure. Seek God thru prayer, fasting, and reading the Holy Word of God.

Seek God for fresh revelations. It is easier to stand, If you have a prophetic word from God. It is easier to be encouraged when God has given you a word to stand upon and believe. For those who may not have received a prophetic word about your situation or circumstance, there is still no excuse for not having Courage. Go to God’s word- the Bible and Ask God to encourage you, and to reveal himself to you through his Holy Word. The word of God will bring about a Fresh wind of peace, a healing balm to your grief stricken heart and soul.

I know it may seem as if the devil is winning. But, This is the time you must take your eyes off the situation , and place them on Jesus. Take your eyes off of people, take your eyes off of your enemies. You must Declare and Decree:

Romans 8:27-28-Bible

27.) And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

28.) And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

You must carry on with living and moving into the things of God no matter what is going on in you or around you. You have Work that must be done- Kingdom Assignments. In Sickness, and in Health We must be Faithful to God. Even in Emotional, psychological battles, You have a Kingdom assignment/ Divine Charge to keep. You must TRUST GOD. You must TRUST GOD, even when things do not look good.

We must press through emotional pain, mental anguish, disappointment, and be strengthen to move by Faith when Fear is staring you in your face trying to make you turn back. I know it may seem like you are in a fiery furnace with the heat turned up 10 x’s in your life. But, You must be brave and know that your God is not only able to deliver. But, Will Deliver you in Dew Season. You do know that You have a dew season, If you faint not. Therefore, My Brother, My Sister Be of good cheer.

Romans 8:37 Bible

Know, In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

I would like to share an Encouraging poem with you from my Mother’s book “ The Key To Unlock The Soul: Poetry That Tells A Story” by : Brenetta Johnson- Sherrod

My name is Hope and I am needed everywhere. For where there is no Hope, man is always in despair. I am needed at home and I am needed at school. I am always needed in each and every rule. My name is Hope.

Without me you can not survive. For where there is no Hope, man can not be revived.

You should carry me with you wherever you go. I will help you through life’s pains and woes.

My name is Hope. I was created for a reason. I am here to help you through life’s many seasons.

Whenever you find yourself feeling down, Remember my name is HOPE and I can always be found.
